On the eastern side of the Pacific, we work with grassroots partners to keep Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) out of California and Oregon. Thanks to Pacific Environment, a coalition of communities and local organizations has successfully protected the coast since 2003. There are no longer active LNG proposals on the California coast and we continue to work with community groups in southern Oregon to challenge the LNG project proposed for Coos Bay (Jordon Cove project).
