Deng Ping provides hands-on program strategy, campaign planning, fundraising, and communications support, as well as daily and weekly one-on-one mentoring to grassroots partners across China. Deng Ping was previously a Climate & Energy Senior Campaigner of Greenpeace East Asia’s Coal & Water project. While at Greenpeace, Deng Ping was a critical force in the project to expose the illegal and corrupt practices of the coal industry. She has a technical background in coal, air pollution, and energy-related fields.

Deng Ping has an M.S. in Grasslands Ecology/Conservation Science and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from China Agricultural University.
