Pacific Environment - Protecting the Living Environment of the Pacific Rim

Yu Aiqun is a professional journalist, documentary filmmaker, and researcher. She has 16 years of experience working as a journalist and editor for social and environmental programs at China Central Television. She is currently a researcher on China with Global Energy Monitor, a global network of researchers seeking to develop collaborative informational resources on fossil fuel impacts and alternatives. Her work includes maintaining the Global Coal Power Tracker and coauthoring the last three years of the Boom and Bust annual report. Yu Aiqun has a Bachelor’s in Chinese Language and Literature and a Master’s in Journalism. She spent two years as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley’s School of Journalism and Public Health.
