Kang Jeongmuk

Renewable Energy Associate (he/him/his)

Kang Jeongmuk serves as Pacific Environment’s Renewable Energy Associate. Previously, as a consultant, he managed the East Asia Clean Air Cities Network and participated in Climate-related projects at ERM Korea. Before that, he worked as the ESG Manager for Segyung Hitech, where he developed the company’s sustainability strategy and 2030 roadmap to align with global climate targets. He also spent more than seven years with ICLEI Korea, where he started by coordinating sustainable mobility initiatives and eventually managed the policy and knowledge management team in the Korea Office. ICLEI is a global network of more than 2,500 local and regional governments across 125 countries committed to sustainable urban development. Jeongmuk has a bachelor’s degree in international trade and business administration from Myong-Ji University and a master’s degree in sustainable development from Uppsala University. He is based in Suwon, South Korea.
