Michael Atrigenio
Dr. Michael Atrigenio supports Pacific Environment’s marine protection work in the Philippines as a consultant. He holds a Ph.D. in marine sciences. Atrigenio is currently an assistant professor at the University of the Philippines Marine Science Institute, teaching graduate-level marine ecology, coral reef ecology, and coastal resource management courses. He also conducts research, including the impacts of climate change on marine organisms. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society and the Philippine Association of Marine Science.
